Accredited by the American Association of Museums. The permanent collection of the museum centers on 19th and 20th century American art with a specific focus on art of Indiana. In addition to selected works from the collection that are on display, two other galleries feature changing exhibitions four times a year. With the focus on education, a variety of studio art classes are offered for both adults and children and docent-led tours are available. The museum gift shop offers works by area artists, including jewelry, ceramics, woodcarvings, glass and paintings. Free to the public, the museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. |
